On a more positive note...
this little guy visited us again. It must be to do with the weather; the last time he perched on our railing was when there was a torrential downpour, same as today. I'm happy he likes to use our balcony as shelter, I just wish he turn the other way to do a poo. Anyone know what kind of bird this is?

Thank! I just asked Gary and he said the same thing. Apparently you can tell by the little hook on its beak. So if two of you say the same thing, it must be a baby butcherbird!
